Rig safe diesel generator can not used in hazardous area, are commonly used in the safe area of the O&G Platform or Facility.

Non-hazardous area: Any area which is not classed hazardous area Zone 0, 1 or 2 is defined as the “Non-Hazardous Area and colloquially as the “Safe Area” although using the term
“safe” could be misleading.

The units require added safety features though not as stringent as units which are used in the Hazardous area zone 2.

Kingway 2 Units Rig Safe ( non-hazardous area ) Diesel driven generator sets mounted in the DNV certified 2.7-1 Skid frame enclosure producing 25KVA @ 0.8 pf,415VAC, 3 Phase +Neutral, 50HZ Output, include ATEX Certified Zone 2 Spark Arrestor, and ATEX Certified Zone 2 Air Inlet shutdown Valve Pass through FAT, load to Client of Brunei, will be used for Shell’s project.

Kingway 4 Units Onshore Light Tower has been done SGS lifting point load test, and pass through all the necessary function testing and finish FAT. The simple light tower will be used for Shell’s onshore Oil & Gas projects in Brunei.
